In addition to marketing Diresco quartz, Innovation Stones also coordinates the design and production work for Honeystone Panels. Honeystone Panels provide an affordable alternative to full size natural stone slabs; they offer a lightweight, flexible and durable solution for technically difficult applications such as interior and exterior cladding within seismic zones, airports or elevators.
Working on projects across Canada, Innovation has the resources and expertise available to work directily, on an one-on-one basis, with you on your project from the initial planning stages to final installation.
Basis Process:
1. Initial Consultation and/or Info Session (email: admin_innovationstones.ca to book a session)
2. Assessment of Architectural Drawing or Existing Space
3. Measurments, Photos and CAD Drawing
4. Stone Selection
5. Project Plan and Stone Review
6. Plans submitted to Italian Manufacturer
7. Installation
8. Final Approval by Structural Engineer
Depending on the size of the project, lead times range between 6 - 8 weeks from the approval of the Project Plan (step 5) to the Final Approval. The lead time for the first four steps is dependent on where you are in your design process but can be done within 2 - 3 weeks. As a note, the stone itself is sourced from full size blocks from around the world and the full system, based on our specified plans, is manufactured in Italy.
