10-Year Fabrication/Residential Warranty
Innovation Stones Ltd. provides a ten (10) year, material-based, warranty for Diresco quartz from the date of purchase/warranty registration. Should a manufacturing defect occur during the warranty period, Innovation will repair or replace the defective Diresco quartz surface providing it pertains specifically to the material itself and not due a lack of proper maintenance, as per the care and maintenance manual, or due to an error in fabrication.
Specifics:
•Innovation provides a ten (10) year material-based warranty for Diresco quartz
•Direscos honed and anticato finishes can be used for exterior usage; lighter colors can discolor slightly due to UV rays and the polish finish can streak the structural integrity of the stone, however, will not be compromised
•Fabrication instructions specific to engineered quartz is provided to all fabricators with each purchase to help minimize potential issues with fabricating engineered quartz, this warranty does not however cover errors specifically due to fabrication
•A Care & Maintenance guide is provided to all fabricators and is available online at www.innovationstones.ca/resources for end users

Coverage Limitations:
•Due to possible color variance between dye lots, it is critical that received slabs are checked in natural light prior to fabrication; once cut, mismatched slabs are no longer eligible for replacement
•Thermal shock, chemical abuse, impact damages or defects due to fabrication, misuse or improper fabrication is not covered by this warranty please see the technical chart, care and maintenance guide and fabrication guide/video for information on how to prevent potential issues
•Direscos performance does not extend beyond the details outlined specifically in the technical chart, complications due to structural movement, architectural and engineering design, job site conditions, acts of vandalism or accidents are not covered beyond the tested capabilities
Warranty Service:
Prior to filing a warranty claim, the technical chart, care and maintenance guide and fabrication guide/video should be consulted. A photo of the error along with a brief description needs to be submitted to admin_innovationstones.ca along with your name, contact information. If you are not currently registered, you must submit information regarding the materials color, finish and application, along with the fabricators name and date of installation.

Quartz Technical:
Diresco, a Breton certified Belgium manufacturer of engineered quartz, produces a stone line that is composed of 93% quartz and 7% resin. Available in 12mm, 20mm and 30mm thicknesses, in 55" x 120" slabs, this line is warrantied for both interior and exterior applications with the exception of the polish finish for exterior use. The 12mm is commonly used for interior applications where as the 20mm and 30mm is used for exterior applications. Polished, honed and anticato finishes span 26 colours, where all are available in the polished finish and a select group in the honed and anticato--please see the gallery section under quartz for specific details.
Resistant to scratches, stains, frost, chips, heat, mold and mildew, due to its 2.5 +/-0.5 N scratch resistance; 2.4 - 2.5g/cm3 density; 6 - 8 Mohs hardness factor; 180 degree heat resistance; and its >35 flexural strength, 32,000 - 42,000 MPa Flexural Modulus and 0.11 - 0.16% flexural elongation, Diresco is considered an incredibly durable product that requires very little maintenance.
